Sarra is a dedicated AI activist and research enthusiast with a strong passion for tech policy, addressing unethical applications particularly in border security, war and armed conflict contexts. Through research, conflict analysis and human-centric tech/AI policy analysis, she draws on extensive knowledge and experience in the MENA region & Africa. Sarra is currently a member of the Coalition for Independent Technology and a Youth Advisory Board member within the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab.

What is Glitter Meetup?

Glitter Meetup is the weekly town hall of the digital rights and Internet Freedom community at the IF Square on the TCU Mattermost, at 9am EDT / 2pm UTC.
