Welcome to the 2025 Global Gathering!
When: September 8 - 10
Where: Estoril, Portugal
The 2025 edition of the Global Gathering (GG) will welcome over 1,500 participants in the last stage of Team CommUNITY’s three-year plan to grow the event in a safe, secure and sustainable way.
The GG brings together digital rights networks from around the world for three days of collaboration building, knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and rejuvenation. Event activities focus on enhancing networking, and collaborative discussions through meetups, workshops, project showcases, and much more!

Navigating Estoril
We have compiled a list of day trips you can take from Estoril, a list of ATMs and Banks near the venue, general information about public transportation, and some Portuguese language tips, including how to order coffee!
Global Gathering Platform
Head over to the Global Gathering Platform where you will be able to log in and:
- View your Global Gathering application status;
- Submit proposals for programming at the Global Gathering; and
- Update your Global Gathering application and proposal submissions.
