The  IFF Glitter Meetup is a recurring gathering designed to help the Internet Freedom community connect & share throughout the year. During the meetup, participants get the opportunity to virtually network with each other, get answers or advice to questions they may have, share updates about their work, and/or share glitter memes :) In addition, each week it hosts a featured guest with a specific expertise, regional knowledge, or working on an interesting project. We encourage you to check out the schedule below.

The Glitter Meetup was started thanks to feedback we received during the 2018 festival, asking that we created more opportunities for the community to interact with each other. It is hosted on Mattermost, a collaboration hub and tool similar to Slack. If you have any recommendations of people we should invite as a featured , please email team@internetfreedomfestival.org
GMs is a place for digital rights defenders to share regional and projects updates, ask questions, share expertise with each other, secure support and resources and, most importantly,  connect with other digital rights defenders from all over the world. In addition, we invite featured guest from time to time, giving participants the opportunity to learn from their expertise and ask questions. Most importantly, however, for the community of digital rights defenders that are dispersed throughout the globe, GMS help build trust, cooperation, and community. It is also a guaranteed place where individuals can cultivate collaborations and network throughout the year. Check out our:
