For our first ever Coffee & Circumvention meetup in Dublin we want to discuss how our democracy is being transformed in an age of digital and technological change. Together, we want to talk about how this change is shaping our society, find areas of shared interest and, ultimately, begin building an Irish community of new reformers working together to shape the future of our democracy. From activists to artists, from journalists to technologists, everyone is welcome. We hope you can join us.

We'll be using this first informal get-together over drinks as an opportunity to scope who in Dublin would be interested in Coffee & Circumvention and establish how we want to build it out. If you work in activism, data, media, politics, design or just have an interest and would like to join the discussion - please come!

This is the Dublin Page for Coffee and Circumvention, monthly community run and owned meetup that happens simultaneously in various cities throughout the world - on the third Thursday of every month. It brings together technologists, artists, journalists, citizens and others interested in digital rights, online privacy and security, and open technology.
