We support individual's freedom of expression, avoiding making fun of the accents or correcting grammatical errors without it being requested. Given the diversity of languages, we strive to better understand each other by not assuming experiences or belief syste, clarifying meanings, and making an effort to speak clearly, avoiding jargons.

The IFF is committed to providing an inclusive, safe and collaborative environment for all participants, regardless of their gender, expression or identity of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, sexual characteristics, physical appearance, disability, or age. This is so that every participant can interact with total freedom of expression, and the everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

The code of conduct is a set of guidelines that establishes shared values and ensures that certain behaviors that may harm participants are avoided.

The values of the IFF community are focused on developing both our individual and collective potential, supporting and empowering the most oppressed, mutual respect, an anti-violence approach that favors support and collaboration among participants and the resolution of conflicts.

Having a code of conduct that helps us co-exist together is essential, and provides individuals who may experience a certain behavior, with confidence that the will be supported by the organization and the IFF community, who respects and stands behind it.

By attending the IFF, we all agree to the following code of conduct

Respect for Diversity & Inclusion:

We avoid comments, actions or propaganda that encourages discrimination related to gender, expression or identity of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, sexual characteristics, physical appearance, disability, or age. (or lack of it).

We Respect Freedom of Expression:

We support individual's freedom of expression, and will not make fun of accents or make unsolicited grammatical corrections. We strive to better understand each other by not assuming experiences, clarifying meanings, and making an effort to speak clearly, avoiding jargon and acronyms.


Commitment to non-violence:

Any type of violence or aggression, meaning verbal threats or complaints, intimidation, or harassment, whether physically or psychologically, is strictly prohibited.

Rejection of sexual harassment:

We understand sexual harassment as unwanted physical contact or insinuation of a sexual nature, as well as displaying images, drawings or visual representations of any kind that expose sexualized behavior.

Respect for privacy:

We safeguard the privacy of the participants, not mentioning their names on social networks without explicit authorization and avoiding any type of unauthorized video or audio recording, as well as photographs.

We facilitate participation:

We work to create a climate that facilitates the course of sessions, avoiding repeatedly interrupting or boycotting a session, including toxic behaviors such as violating the privacy of the conference.

We take care of the integrity and health of the community:

This includes not to contaminate food or drink with drugs and not to incite or insist on the consumption of alcohol, psychoactive substances, etc.

We support the collaboration among the participants

In order to develop the projects and the proposed objectives, it is forbidden to request the help of others or mobilize them to put them against another assistant, either in person or online.
