Welcome to the Internet Freedom Festival Wiki!

Schedule & Program

The full IFF Schedule for 2017 is now available, as well as a growing compendium of individual session pages.

Volunteering

We need all hands on deck on Sunday, March 5th & Friday, March 10th!

These are the days we are both setting up and breaking down the festival. Seriously, we can't do it without you! Plus, there will be music and it will allow you to meet folks before the event, and then allow the organizers to be able to go to the closing ceremony!!

Sunday March 5 @ 13:00h to 17:00h

Friday, March 10 @ 17:00h to 19:00h

Featured Events

We have some amazing featured events planned for the 2017 IFF - we'll be updating the wiki right here with more details as they become available!

Self-Organized Sessions & Help Desks

The process to organize a "self-organized" session has changed a bit! Please see the registration desk and provide them with the title of your session. Its first come, first serve, so make sure to reserve your room as soon as you can! Please note, the self-organized sessions will not be listed on the official programing. Rather, we will be tweeting them every hour.

Code of Conduct & Emergency Numbers

This year we have a Code of Conduct. Make sure to check it out, as it also explains how to get in contact with the Code of Conduct Committee. If you need to reach out to the organizers, you can reach out to Sandy on +12022361426, a phone number which can be reached by Signal or Whatsapp. If you feel sick, check out a list of Clinics and Hospitals. Also, make sure to view our Emergency Numbers for local authorities.

New to the Festival? We have Meetups!

If you are new to the festival or you would like to network in a more relaxed manner, we have various meetups arrange throughout the week. If you would like to host a specific Meetup, please email sandra@opentechfund.org View the full list of Meetups
