You must first apply to attend the Global Gathering (GG) and check in the form that you are interested in applying for Equity Fund support. Upon approval, you will then be invited to complete a separate Equity Fund application.

Through the Equity Fund we have

🌱 Directly supported more than 700 individuals from low resourced, underrepresented communities to attend the Global Gathering and advance into leadership roles. This number includes fellows from our past fellowship program, which is currently paused indefinitely.

🌱 Developed a robust, trauma-informed Code of Conduct and implementation processes, along with comprehensive security and safety protocols and equity tools. Together, these have set a trusted benchmark for community-centered, rights-respecting, and secure events.

“This was the first space where many of us from the global majority felt truly welcomed into the digital security field. For the first time, I felt like I belonged — a feeling echoed by many others who found access through community.” — Nigerian Digital Rights Defender
